Units << Switch Buttom LW >>

The Wizard is a long range unit and the tenth unit to be unlocked in the campaign. It costs 150 gems to summon one. He is first encountered upon arrival in the swamp, and soon afterward, he needs your help in a minigame at level 4-1. He joins you and you can first summon them in 4-2. They cost a lot but they're worth it, since they have powerful long ranged attacks.

Behavior[]

When confronted, the wizard shoots energy from his staff in Tiers 1 and 2. In tier 2, this attack has a 3% chance to freeze an enemy for 10 seconds, AND damage enemies for 7 damage per second for 10 seconds. In Tiers 3 and 4, white or yellowish lightning shoots from the wizard's staff, damaging all units in its area. In tier 5, he shoots one cyan energy ball, then another energy ball 0.13s later, from his hands. Sadly, they no longer deal AoE damage. The upside is that he now deals twice the damage per attack, which, combined with his insane speed and improved attack rate, pushes him far past the Phoenix in terms of power.

Despite appearing to be levitating, the Tier 5 wizard is still affected by hazards.

Special[]

In Tier 1, the wizard shoots a fireball with a recovery animation of 1.2s that causes damage that scales with the special stat to a single enemy, igniting enemies for 5dps for 10 seconds. This fireball takes travels at 250 speed/s and has infinite range. (30 Essence)

In Tier 2, the wizard shoots out an iceball similar to Tier 1, but now it deals a debuff of 7dps for 10 seconds, and stuns them for 10s as well. (40 Essence)

In Tier 3, the wizard calls down lightning over the course of 1.13s in front of him with a range of 300, damaging multiple enemies. It damages everything in that row, now scaling with the critical stat, and each enemy hit has a 90% chance to be stunned for 10s and dealt 10dps for 10s. (60 Essence)

In Tier 4, the wizard's special is called "Mirror Prism", where he creates a copy of himself in adjacent lanes and perform the Tier 4 standard attack, but with a range of 250, hitting all enemies, while still scaling with the critical and special stats. (80 Essence)

In Tier 5 the wizard summons a giant blue wave after 1.73s that sweeps through the lane and adjacent lanes, dealing fixed 333 damage to any enemy that is in that wave every 0.05s, travelling a total distance of 300 with a total recovery animation of 2.5s. This special no longer scales with the special and critical stat, but is still a lethal special if positioned correctly. (90 Essence)

Characters[]

The main character in the game is Felix, a Tier 1 wizard. The old wizard claims that he lives in the body of an owl that perches on his head. When he is first encountered, he asks Lucas what the year is.

Felix (future)[]

Also known as the Light Sage, he is a Tier 3 wizard. He claims that he is Felix in his own body. He comes back from the future in campaign level 4-9. He disappears at the completion of the level.

Leo[]

Leo was an great sage that lived in the desert oasis. He used his magic to create the Golems, a new race of beings that would protect the land. It's unknown what tier of armor he wore. Based on the story, Leo died before or after the Monster Wars. He also had connections with the heavens, which probably would make him a Tier 4 or 5 wizard, since he was one of the greatest sages who ever lived.

Sky Sage[]

The Sky Sage is one of the creators of legendary and is a tier 5 wizard. It's unknown whether the Sky Sage is in fact Leo or not.
