|A tier 1 Miner|
|Tier 1||Candle miney|
The Miner is currently the only "passive" unit in the game. Miners collect gems, which are required to summon other units. It costs no gems to summon one, but on older versions they cost 5 gems. They are first encountered in the intro of the game; you can start summoning them after level 1-1. On level 4-2 they get kidnapped. Luckily, Lemmy jumps in and replaces your Mineys with his powerful mining skills.
Miners don't have combat abilities. Their only function is mining gems for your troops.
The miners have different stats from any other normal unit. They're named: 'Mining Rate', 'Starting Gem Stock', 'Miner Walking Speed' and 'Gems Per Trip'. You can upgrade this stats in the Armory.
The mineys don't have any specials yet.
Lemmy is a skilled miner. When he was younger he worked in the mines of Frostburn and in the game he's the shopkeeper from your castle. However, Lemmy jumps in when your miners are kidnapped. He carries 25 gems every time he goes into the mines.
- Although the miner doesn't have any specials yet, there are rumors for a second tier.
- Miners don't have an opposite in Legendary Wars, however in another game of Liv Games (Monster Wars) they do. Their opposite is the Gremlin Miner which was introduced in version 2.0.
- In the Endless Cows Bonus Mode, miners have a unique outfit and carry milk instead of gems.
- In Monster Wars, they attack similarly to dwarves, but with a slightly higher attack rate.
