Desert Oasis is the third area in the campaign that levels take place in. Characterized by a desolate, sandy desert, the types of enemies encountered start to become more specific. The hazard that characterizes this area is quicksand, which causes units caught to slowly sink.

Enemies[]

The enemies encountered in this area are tier 1 skullys, skully archers, mummies, vampys, wolfys, and gargoyles, tier 2 skullys, and as bosses, a wolf boss, a tier 2 wolf, and a Sand Dragon.

The Mummy is an upgraded sidegrade of the Zombie that bites at a very close range for its normal attack, and its special is the normal attack with slightly improved range and improved damage.

The Gargoyle is a common heavyweight melee enemy that strikes in close range with his sword, followed by his fist for his normal attack, and his special will perform a cannonball jump that will damage multiple units twice and stun them.

The Sand Dragon is a heavyweight melee unit that whips its tail to deal damage, while its special shoots sand that on contact, explodes to deal area damage and can stone affected units, always immobilizing them.

Hazard[]

Desertquicksand

The quicksand sinking a golem

The hazard found on non-sidescrolling Desert Oasis levels is quicksand.

The quicksand will slowly sink all ground units at a rate of 2% per second until the unit has fully sunk, at which case, the unit will die.
On the top lane, the quicksand starts at a distance of 660 and extends to cover a distance of 300, sinking units for 0.5s as long as the unit is in that area.
On the middle lane, the quicksand starts at a distance of 655 and extends to cover a distance of 325, sinking units for 0.5s as long as the unit is in that area.
On the bottom lane, the quicksand starts at a distance of 770 and extends to cover a distance of 225, sinking units for 0.5s as long as the unit is in that area.

3-2 has more potent quicksand, however.

Difficulty Changes[]

All levels, except sidescrolling levels, will have stronger enemies to face when you replay them on a higher difficulty. Below are the modifiers applied to enemy and automatically spawning units on a higher difficulty:

Note that 3-2 has different difficulty modifiers that do not stack with these difficulty modifiers.
