UCP and Polls

Hello all,

I know there isn't very many, if at all, readers of the Fandom/Wiki anymore.

However, since today, there has been a banner announcing the inevitable move of the Fandom to the new United Community Platform, Fandom's initiative to merge Gamepedia and Fandom/Wikia together.

Journey to 1.5.5

A few months ago, I wanted to get my hands on a pre-2.0 version of Legendary Wars, preferably pre-1.2, but as I searched the internet, I only found a way to play Version 1.5.5 and Version 1.5.1. Since apparently the latter had a devastating bug which could roll back your save progress, I went with Version 1.5.5. Thus, I installed that version and went off to start playing.

However, I wanted the experience to feel as close as possible to the launch version of the game. Thus, I set a few restrictions on myself.

  • Units may only be upgraded to tier 3 at most.
  • Starting Gem Stock upgrades are banned.
  • Targeting must ALWAYS be set to Manual instead of Casual/Automatic.

How to activate Gem Doubler (2.3)

In case people want the gem doubler but cannot normally get it, here are simple instructions on how to get the doubler.

How to activate doubler:

1. Be able to edit your save file known as Profile.plist, this can be done in a variety of ways.

2. Copy this code between the string of "macid" and "purchasedGems" into the profile file:

purchaseDoubler 1

3. Enjoy your doubler! Change that 1 to a 0 if you want to remove it for speedrun purposes or such.

Plans for the Wiki

NOTE: I will be alternating between the Monster Wars and Legendary Wars fandoms, as the communities for these games really just overlap. Currently I am focusing on Monster Wars.

Recently, I have been granted Admin permissions to help organize and fill out the wiki better.

This is the general plan of what I will be focusing on, roughly from first to last:

  • Unit Page information and organizing the unit pages better
  • Status effects and how they work
  • Campaign page structure, and campaign level information
  • Legendary Challenges and the associated levels
  • Other one-off pages like armory and Arena
  • Monster information

Scaling Enemy Units formule

It's easyer than it look:

The game start with the following variable "scaleHp".

On default this variable is globaly set to 1 and in most levels this value is modified.

Some examples:


Wave 1:

  • scaleHp[Global] = 1

Wave 2:

  • scaleHp = 0.5

Wave 3:

  • scaleHp[Global] = 1
  • last skully: (unknown action that set his hp to 120, scaling hp should 1.5)


Wave 1:

  • scaleHp[Global] = 1

Wave 2:

  • scaleHp[Global] = 0.7

Wave 3:

  • scaleHp[Global] = 0.7
  • last skully // scaleHp = 2

Game Ballance Analise & Feedback

An fell days ago I finaly bought an new smartphone. Offcourse this gave me the opportunity to install the game again. I'm not sure this game still is played actively but I probaly will give it an try to update some of the content over here. I want to start slow since I just don't want to rush my experience. That's why I decide to start an feedback blog. On some part that might need some reballancing.

What I want to do

Hi there!

I am JosephHawk, and I recently received bureaucratic and adminship rights from this awesome person. What I mostly want to do is update the wiki with all the new info from the last few updates, and give the pages a cleaner presentation. I also would like to change the articles from Second Person (i.e. you) to Third Person (the player, he, she, etc…)

I also want to make separate character pages such Lucas, Golan, the Wizard… etc.

I really appreciate your time in reading this, and any suggestions would be awesome!

Wiki coding & html NL

Translate project, since NL is my main language I first want to finish my guide to NL and later retranslate it when it's finished.

Vandaag ga ik proberen jullie wat wiki codes te leren. Het is blijkbaar erg hard voor sommige spelers om deze te verstaan; terwijl ze in feite erg makkelijk zijn van zodra je de code kent. Wiki coding is in feite een vereenvoudigde vorm van html. Sommige html codes zijn vervangen door symbolen of afkortingen zodat zelf het kleinste kind ermee kan werken. Ondanks wiki codes zo makkelijk lijken is het erg beperkt in mogelijkheden. Wiki coding and HTML

Note: My main languages is not english so sorry for any mistakes

Today I go to try to learn you some wiki coding. I mention it's really hard for some player to understand it when it's in fact really easy when you known the code. There's in fact some difference between wikicode and html. Wiki code are codes that are an great support when it comes to visual. This codes almost never fails when you switch between source and visual and is recommanded for all wiki players to known about them. When html is an support for source only give it the options that are for wiki coding are almost impossible. The problem with html is that I can bug when you switch between source and visual. Upgrades

What are your upgrades?

I have:

  • Tier 4 knight
  • Tier 5 elfy (which is really powerful)
  • Tier 3 dwarfy
  • Tier 4 healer
  • Tier 4 unicorn
  • Tier 4 golem
  • Tier 4 wizard (which is really powerful too, I'm looking forward to upgrade him to tier 5)
  • Tier 4 phoenix (wow!)

I've got 17 moonstones, but I'm not sure if using them for knight and dwarf, because I'm afraid that in 2.0 there won't be enough new moonstones (in the Netherworld) to upgrade the other 5 units to tier 5... What do you think?

Infoboxes

Some plans for the infoboxes:

  • Image: The idea would be when the image is not fulled in it automaticly use it's basic name so when someone upload it with that name it automatic get add. If it doesn't exist than nothing. However when someone add something in the |image than that image take priority and replace the other one.

Wiki Status

Last update: Time to get this wiki back in business

Projects:

  • Finish the stars system
  • Merge the monster pages (first the infobox need to be finished for this)
  • Get the css extensions working
  • Fixed the bugged extensions and add new ones with bugging the old
  • Finish the navigation (can't be finished without finishing the infobox and monster merge)
