This is the Castle Armory. You can train your soldiers, upgrade your castle and purchase Legendary Armor. Lemmy is the castle keeper, blacksmith and all-in-one traveling merchant. He runs the armory together with Go'fer. He's a master miner and a trusted advisor of the Gilded Sun Kingdom.

To access anything aside from the unit stat upgrades, tap on Lemmy, the shopkeeper, to access the armory desk.

Upgrading Unit Stats[]

To upgrade a unit, tap on the unit you would like to upgrade in the armory.

Once a unit is selected, 5 stats will be displayed for upgrading with gems:

  • Critical
  • Special
  • Hit Points
  • Defense/Speed
  • Attack

Critical increases the chance a unit's attack will be a critical hit. Special affects some units' specials by making them deal more damage or heal more. Hit Points are the stat that absorbs damage and if it drops to 0 on a unit, the unit dies. Defense/Speed varies on the unit, with defense reducing damage received, while speed increases movement speed. Attack is how much damage a unit deals on its regular attacks.

Legendary Armor[]

Legendary Armors are special armors that were worn by the heroes of the Monster Wars. They are ancient relics infused with essence. Lemmy needs moonstones to finish forging them. To upgrade a soldier, you need to fully train him (make sure that ALL those yellow bars when you upgrade him are full) , and then using moonstones, tap on Lemmy, and then tap 'Legendary Armor'. From there, just make sure that you have enough moonstones for each upgrade.

Once you upgrade a unit, it will be upgraded to a new tier, which can alter certain stats that can only be modified through a tier upgrade, and even change the special to be something entirely new!

Here the list of moonstones needed to upgrade each troop:

Spell Book[]

SpellBook

Your spell book can contain up to 6 spells, which are unlocked through the main game, and then upgraded in the Armory with moonstones. Damage from every spell except the Cyclops is fixed and is not subject to damage variation.

To upgrade spells, after entering the armory menu, tap the spell book in the armory to go to the spell upgrade tab. While spells are unlocked for free after beating certain levels, they cost 2 Moonstones to upgrade to level 2, then 3 moonstones to upgrade to level 3. The basic spell book only allows you to cast each spell once. You can upgrade your spell book for 5 Moonstones and then upgrade it again for 10 Moonstones.

In the original versions (2.3 and below) of the game, activating one spell would reactivate a cooldown for every spell. In the Gameclub rerelease, spells have their own independent cooldowns, allowing you to cast every spell in rapid succession.

Rain of Arrows[]

ArrowSpellArrowArrow-Fire Rains arrows, causing light damage over most of the screen. In tier 3, these arrows are upgraded to fire arrows which ignite enemies for 20dps over 3s. It charges the fastest out of every spell but this is generally a last resort when nothing else is charged.

Damage:

Tier 1: 60

Tier 2: 120

Tier 3: 180

Fire Storm[]

FireSpellMeteorBall-hd Creates a fire wave that sweeps the screen, igniting enemies for 5dps over 4s in tier 1. In tier 2 it creates two fire waves, the first dealing 85 damage with 10dps over 4s, the second is created a second after the first wave and deals 57 damage with 5dps over 4s. At tier 3, it summons two meteors with a large blast radius that ignite enemies for 15dps over 6s.

Damage:

Tier 1: 57

Tier 2: 85+57

Tier 3: 172

Ice Storm[]

IceSpellIceStormParticle1IceStormParticle2 Rains ice shards, freezing enemies for 3s. At tier 2 these shards freeze for 5s. At tier 3 these shards appear bigger and are visually followed by a blizzard which does nothing, freezing enemies for 8s.

Damage:

Tier 1: 86

Tier 2: 161

Tier 3: 252

Lightning Spell[]

LightningSpell Around the center of the screen, it spawns lightning bolts that have a small blast radius that may hit two lanes at once, and these bolts tend to prefer the lower side of the screen. In tier 1, 5 bolts strike down onto enemies, tier 2 rains 8 bolts, while tier 3 rains 10 bolts. When a boss spawns in the bottom row (like all of the arena bosses), this is easily your weapon of choice.

Damage:

Tier 1: 57

Tier 2: 115

Tier 3: 172

Rainbow Spell[]

RainbowSpell A special unicorn creates a rainbow that targets enemies on screen, damaging them for 1 damage and charming those enemies. Tier 1 targets 4 enemies on screen to be charmed, tier 2 charms 6 enemies, and tier 3 charms 8 enemies.

There is a bug where if you pause the screen while the animation has not charmed any units yet, the animation will be able to finish while paused, and when you unpause once the animation is gone, every unit on screen will be charmed for the duration of your spell's tier.

Duration:

Tier 1: 5s

Tier 2: 7s

Tier 3: 10s

Cyclops Spell[]

CyclopsSpell

CyclopsPortrait

Summons a cyclops that lasts a set amount of seconds. Upgrading the spell only improves the duration before the cyclops vanishes, not the stats of the cyclops.

Duration:

Tier 1: 10s

Tier 2: 15s

Tier 3: 20s

Spell Book Upgrade[]

SpellBookIcon The spell book contains all your spells that you need to use. Upgrades will reduce the cooldown of every spell and add 1 extra charge to every spell for every upgrade, except Rain of Arrows, which receives 2 extra charges per upgrade.

The cooldowns listed below correspond to the spells in this order: Arrows, Fire, Ice, Lightning, Rainbow, Cyclops.

Spell Cooldowns (left to right as the spells appear in the book):

Tier 0: 45s, 60s, 75s, 90s, 100s, 105s

Tier 1: 35s, 50s, 65s, 80s, 90s, 95s

Tier 2: 30s, 40s, 50s, 70s, 70s, 75s

In-App Purchases[]
