With Lord Magma significantly weakened, Enix must seal the Netherworld Gates. In this sidescrolling level, you control Enix, who must damage Lord Magma using his special. Unlike most sidescrolling levels, your initial essence is determined by upgrades and your max essence is 500.

Units[]

In this level, you control Enix, a special phoenix with unique stats. He scratches enemies with a range of 30, then follows that up after 0.07s with a fireball with a blast radius of 150, that ignites enemies for 100dps over 3.2s, over the course of 0.67s.
For his special, he uses 500 essence to dive forward, increasing speed by +713% for 0.2s and creating an explosion of radius 250 that also ignites enemies for 100dps over 3.2s, and 0.1s after that, Enix's speed slows down by -9900% for 1.3s to get Enix back into position, with the entire animation lasting 1.45s. This special is required to kill Lord Magma with the Enix.

In addition, Knights, Elves, Dwarves, Unicorns, and Golems spawn randomly from the right side, starting with the bottom lane on the first and after every 25 spawns, and move towards the right side 0.1s after the level starts. These units are not controllable and are affected by the tier and stats of your Knights, Elves, Dwarves, Unicorns, and Golems. They will fight the enemies that spawn down below and can even target Lord Magma if they are within range!

Enix's stats are: 10% critical, 75 speed, 1000 hp, 100 special, and 50 attack.

Enemies[]

5.1s after the level starts, you face, tier 2 skullys, tier 1 zombies, imps, spiders, wolfys, and gargoyles which infinitely spawn in random lanes.

Lord Magma is also the boss that must be killed, who will follow the lane you switch to, and will also shoot fireballs at you in a straight line if you stay in one lane for too long.

There are also obstacles that your units can get distracted on.

Trivia[]

  • On the background, you can see the Orion constellation.
  • The phoenix used to appear as tier 1, but it now appears as tier 3 in this level.
  • This level used to be the final level in the campaign and was called Final Battle, but because of 2.0, this level was renamed to Epic Battle to better accommodate the Netherworld.
  • Magma Mountain endless modes are supposed to unlock after beating this level on normal, but in the code, it instead requires this level to be beaten on cycle "0", which is nonexistant but is before normal, meaning Magma Mountain endless modes unlock immediately after creating a save.
